Jones: It's unfortunate and an acceptable fact that the good is always spoken only after the dead. But I will comment on your write up , as a relative, friend, age-mate, class-mate .............etc. AB was someone to be proud of. Easy going, Soft , Caring, .............and to be trusted. While on training in south of France , AB crossed over to England to spend his short break with me in Birmingham in Dec.1981. While in Douala, our families spent most weekends together. We were not only what i have cited above but morethan than that because before he was transferred to Garoua, he had wanted to be posted to the SOL-AIR base in Edea so that we spend our time together. Alot can be written but let posterity take care of that. Our families have had a lot in common. But as destiny had so made it, AB hurriedly exited from this world. Who are we to question what happened to AB in Camdodia? Satan still has its role to play - we must only be strong. I have never danced the bottle dance set of "Mben re ndo" without being reminded in my inner mind of AB. Sometime i have to confess to Achu Goswill each that set is played. AB loved that tract so much that some times my eyes water. We sincerely miss him but i am certain that the all mighty is taking care of him as he has done so for the family in his absence. Let us but copy his positive aspects and improve on our own lives for the remaining time we have on this earth. Again - Thanks to Jones for the courage of reminging us of AB - for it hurts to think about him. Cho Mancho Adolf Garoua
